What 'high security' actually means
ANSI/BHMA 156.30 defines the pick, drill, bump and key-control requirements. A true high-security cylinder resists picking, has hardened anti-drill inserts, is engineered against bumping, and uses a restricted keyway that hardware-store cutters can't legally duplicate.
Key control on file
When we install a restricted keyway we register you as the authorized key-holder. Anyone requesting a duplicate must appear on your list and sign for the copy — no rogue keys.
